Summary:

ExtremeZ-IP’s filename policy settings only prevents Macintosh users from adding or renaming files on the server.

Description:

ExtremeZ-IP’s filename policy settings are designed to prevent Macintosh users from adding files to the server which do not conform to a policy set by the Administrator. ExtremeZ-IP will not modify any existing files on the server (unless the Macintosh user tries to rename a file).

There are a number of utilities available for Windows that will scan an entire drive and rename files. Group Logic has not tested any of these third party applications.
